We love hearing study abroad trips! We encourage the Middle Georgia State University faculty and staff to share their experiences and student reactions for others to see! We hope this encourages more people to sign-up and plan their own Study Abroad/Experiential Learning Program Trip.

If you have any stories you would like to share for the Middle Georgia State University family to hear please email christopher.avery@mga.edu.

Hello MGSU Faculty and Staff,

I would like to introduce Dr. Laura Thomason!

She is the Provost Fellow for International Programs and Professor of English at Middle Georgia State University. Her specialty area is 18th-century British literature, but she also enjoys and gets excited about critical reading and effective writing in all areas and at all levels. She lives in Macon with her husband Daniel Boudreault, and their dog Zouki (Chihuahua mix) and two cats, Mackie (tiny black cat) and Tiger (enormous orange tabby). Laura and Daniel and are competitive ballroom dancers so they are often on the dance floor when she is not teaching, reading, or writing.

You can also follow her on Twitter and Instagram @knightsabroad!
